Frequently Asked Questions
What time are you open?
We are open from 7:30-6:00 Monday to Friday. We are closed for 2 weeks over Christmas and all public holidays. Our Narrabeen centre is open 7:30-5:45.
Are your educators qualified?
Yes, our educators all have either University degrees, Diploma’s or Certificate III. All our educators are encouraged to further their study so we can provide the best educational program.
Do you have educational programs?
Yes! We pride ourselves on our educational program. We work on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Children learn through play and interests, and our educators follow through their skill and abilities with challenging and thought provoking activities. Your child will learn maths, science, literacy, social skills, emotional skills, independence, environmental sustainability, creativity and many more skills and concepts!
Will you help my child get ready for school?
We have an extensive school readiness program available, run by our university-trained teachers. We also provide a letter land program, which teaches children their alphabet. The children get to practice a letter each week, how to write it, how to pronounce it and how to identify it. Throughout the year we provide developmental profiles, school readiness reports and parent teacher interviews, so we can work together and make sure your child is 100% ready for school.
I'm worried about them settling in. How can I make the transition smooth?
Leaving your little one in a new environment can make some parents feel a little anxious. We spend time with you to make this transition as smooth as possible. Separation anxiety is very common with both children and their family members alike. We will work with you by setting up orientation days before they start. Every child handles their first day a little differently, and tears can be a normal part of the first day (for you and them!) We will come up with strategies to ensure children settle in quickly, and you feel at ease knowing they are in good hands!
